Now I have a really difficult decisions and, given both schools are amazing academically, I'm trying to understand their social scenes more. Is Yale fun for you? Like in terms of partying and such. Academics is really important to me, but partying is somewhat importante as well...haha. Also, do you feel safe in New Haven? Thanks for your help!

First off, congratulations! This is definitely a big decision so make sure you take everything into consideration. Now here’s where I begin to try to convince you that Yale is the absolute best: I feel completely safe here. All that stuff you hear about New Haven is so exaggerated and blown out of proportion, so don’t let that affect your decision. As for the party scene, it fucking rocks. I go out every weekend (unless there’s studying to do) and there are always events/parties to go to. There’s never a dull moment. That’s one of my favorite things about here, is the fact that there’s always something going on.
