Yale 2015, Freshman Year

Ask me anything . . . .   Freshman, Saybrook College.
This is basically my life at Yale: the things I find on my way to and from class, the moments that made me laugh and the times where I'm going to be complaining about classes. Bring it on, Veritas.

Also, feel free to ask questions. I actually love answering them. I'll be brutally honest.
Anonymous asked: Are you selected to do summer research? Would it be a few weeks long? I'm completely unfamiliar with the process. Ha, but I'm so interested!

Answer:

Usually when you do summer research it’s for most of the summer. And it all depends on what program or through what school you do research with. For many programs you have to either be nominated or you have to apply. And for those who don’t do research through a specific program they usually talk to the professors directly about working with them. If you’re not familiar with it, I would highly recommend talking to your school’s counselor or any science teacher, they should be familiar with any research programs that your school is involved with or can be involved with. And if not, there are many that you can apply to online.
