Yale 2015, Freshman Year

Ask me anything . . . .   Freshman, Saybrook College.
This is basically my life at Yale: the things I find on my way to and from class, the moments that made me laugh and the times where I'm going to be complaining about classes. Bring it on, Veritas.

Also, feel free to ask questions. I actually love answering them. I'll be brutally honest.
Anonymous asked: I am a pre law student in Yale (freshman) and I have a sort of dilemma, I actually got into Yale out of surprise cause I was offered a soccer scholarship for women. My dad is a lawyer and his money was supposed to get me in Harvard but my GPA was 4.6 so it wasn't ALL money but yeah i picked Yale and now my dad wants me to do pre law here and then do law in Harvard 'in good hands' AKA his friends, I honestly don't know what to do...?

Answer:

I mean, I’m really not someone that can give you the answer to this. But if I were to give you advice, it would be to do what YOU want to do. Go where you know you’ll be happy.. Live your dream, not someone else’s. If you don’t want to end up at Harvard, you need to explain that to your father; he has the right to know. That’s the best I can tell you.
